Voiding

The third execise consist of ridding the mind of all thoughts and impressions whatsoever.You must endeavour to maintain a total vacuum.initially,you will only be able to do this for a few seconds.The goal is to be able to hold your mind in this void state for ten minutes.once again, you must not fall asleep.

These are three mental exercise that you should make a life time practice. you will see how easy it will be for you to visualise, meditate, contemplate. Your imagination will become clear, your reasoning incisive and your assimilation will be profound giving you a great memory.

Focusing

In this exercise the objective is to hold on exclusively to a single thought,idea or object and energetically keep all other thoughts out of the mind. At first this will be difficult and the mind will suffer battering form other unwanted thoughts, but with continuous practise you will become used to concentrating all you mental energy on
your objective. Try not to fall asleep.You will have reached the goal of the exercise when you can hold on for ten minutes.After you master this exercise you will notice that your thoughts are less chaotic and appear more distinct

A piece of mind!

Mind : the totality of conscious and unconscious mental processes and activities. Mind collectively refers to the aspects of intellect and consciousness manifested as combinations of thought, perception, memory, emotion, will and imagination; mind is the stream of consciousness. It includes all of the brain's conscious processes. This denotation sometimes includes, in certain contexts, the working of the human unconscious or the conscious thoughts of animals. "Mind" is often used to refer especially to the thought processes of reason.

There is potential in your mind.

There are boundless possibilities and limitless potential in your mind and you can harness your mental enery and direct it in the direction you want. It is why they say; you get what you want,eventually. This saying is especially true if we look at life beyond one life time. it is why people who are more spiritually mature search to achieve long term goals that transend lifetimes. However wether we are spiritual or not we all can avail ourselves to the mental power which we all are endowed with.You may have come across ads on the internet, journals or even on television that tell you that you can attract wealth, hapiness, love, etc to yourself, this is true, many people have used mental energy to attain their life's goal. You too can be on of them.

Every system that is given on using mind power has it's own outline, but they are all based on the same qualifications; Visualisation, Affirmation, Positve Mental Atitude, Meditation, definiteness of purpose, discipline of thought, planning, etc. But really how many of us actually have the discipline of mind to carry all these out successfully. Most of us still have minds that are like a drift wood at sea.

If you are a soccer player for instance you know that pace, stamina, skill, goal instinct, placement are all vital in the game and a team that has a higher percentage of these essentials will most likely win a game against a team with a relatively lower percentage. And these essentials themselselves are not learned during the game, but rather during training, for this reason, before i give any system of attaining your goals, i'll first like to give you three simple exercises that will will sharpen and strenghten your mind so that you can easily visualise, meditate or concentrate on your goals and make you successful in any system you choose. In other words making you a vital player.

Awareness of Thought Flow

Sit comforatably, relax yourself, take a couple of deep breaths, shut your eyes for five minutes and allow your thought run . At first, you will notice that they are haphazard and appear to come and go as they please one leading to the other withouth rythmn.

Allow them run uninterruped, only observe them quietly, follow them attentively,be aware of how one leads to another.

Try not to forget yourself or fall asleep during this exercise, if you feel sleepy,discontinue it immediately and postpone it to another time when you think you will be able to stay awake, or you can choose to sprinkle cold water on your face and upper body to stay awake.

Endeavour to add minute to the time for the exercise, when you can do it for at least ten minutes you will be ready for the next exercise.
